Resumen

In the Standard Model, we obtain a non-Fritzschlike configuration with five texture zeros for thequark mass matrices. This matrix generates thequark masses, the inner angles of the CKM uni-tary triangle, and the CP-violating phase in thequark sector. This work can be applied to thePMNS matrix in the lepton sector, by assumingDirac masses for the neutrinos, where non-trivialpredictions for the neutrino masses and mixingangles are expected.
