Illumination tracking in different zones for extensive buildings is a complex task for centralized controllers. In order to achieve different set points in diverse environments with information from light sensors, a distributed strategy based on replicator dynamics is presented. With this strategy, the appropriate illuminance levels are preserved along with the comfort required in each area by taking advantage of the daylight and inter-zone influences. The proposed algorithm is programmed in simulations with an indoor illumination model in order to tune the controller parameters. Then, a discrete version of the method is programmed in a microcontroller system to prove its performance in a mockup model with sensors and LED lamps in a multizone distribution.
