Resumen
In the Standard Model, we obtain a non-Fritzsch like configuration with five texture zeros forthe quark mass matrices. This matrix generates the quark masses, the inner angles of the CKMunitary triangle, and the CP-violating phase in the quark sector. This work can be appliedto the PMNS matrix in the lepton sector, by assuming Dirac masses for the neutrinos, wherenon-trivial predictions for the neutrino masses and mixing angles are expected.
